The menu at Jax Food & Games is an eclectic mix of classic bar grub and specialty items. Try their burgers and wings, or go wild on Taco Tuesday with their spin on Mexican dishes like nachos, street tacos, and birria.
Their great menu doesn’t stop at the food. At Jax, you can sip on local beers from Rutland Beer Works, Long Trail Brewing Co., Zero Gravity, and more. They also have popular craft brews from across the country, domestics, seltzers, and “Fitness Beers” for those who want to stick to the lighter side of things.
Not into beer? You’ll find a generous list of wines and liquor, too. While the kitchen closes at nine, they offer a late-night menu with chicken fingers, fries, mozzarella sticks, and mac ‘n cheese bites so you can satisfy those after-hours cravings.

World Cup 2026 Watch Parties
June 11 through July 19th, Jax is tuning in to soccer's biggest event, offering fans a place to gather and cheer for their favorite team. With seven TVs, plus a gargantuan 11-foot screen, it's one of the best spots in Killington to watch the World Cup. Come early (they open at 3 PM every day) to grab a spot at the bar or a table with friends, and relax with cold drinks, delicious bites, and plenty of sports-fan fun.
Live Music

The events calendar at Jax Food & Games is always hopping, so when you’re looking for live music in Killington, VT, it’s a great place to check out. The brainchild of a “cocktail napkin design,” it’s been a community staple for more than a decade and gives local acts a place to hone their talents.
With a name inspired by the owner’s son, a popular New Orleans beer, and the children’s game, Jax has been filling a special niche in the community for years. And when the COVID pandemic was shuttering venue doors, it was one of the first places to start offering outdoor options as a means to keep their people employed and provide a much-needed reprieve from daily woes.
These days, you can catch live music on their indoor stage or, depending on the weather, on the lower patio and balcony. Performances happen just about every Friday-Sunday, so chances are, if you visit on a weekend, you'll be in for some excellent entertainment.
Games at the Bar

As the name suggests, Jax Food & Games also has you covered for recreation. Whether you’re posting up to watch a game on their TVs or looking to challenge a friend to some lighthearted competition, you can do it all here.
Test your strength at the mechanical punching bag, snag the biggest deer with Big Buck Hunter, or play a namesake game of jax at your table. They also have Connect Four, Uno, Cards Against Humanity, dice games, and more!
If pool is your game, you’re in luck there, too. Whether you’re a billiards pro or an “I’m better when I’m drinking” kind of player, you can rack ‘em up at the pool tables all night long. You never know what games are waiting at Jax, so ask your bartender or server when you visit, and they’ll get you set up!
