Last month, we highlighted Jax Food & Games as one of Killington’s best summer bars. That’s because they offer literally everything you could want.
Their menu features delicious burgers and wings, as well as tacos, loaded tots, and more. The drink selection ranges from local craft brews to classic cocktails. And when it comes to entertainment, they have you covered with live music multiple nights a week, arcade and board games, pool tables, and TVs so you can keep up with your home team.
Located on the access road, just a couple of miles from the Killington Resort, it’s a place you’re sure to feel at home when you visit.
2. Sushi Yoshi
Celebrating a special occasion on your vacation? As Killington’s only hibachi restaurant, Sushi Yoshi delivers dinner with flair and fun. Plus, they’re home to Killington’s only Vermont Craft Beer Garden! With more than 20 local beers on draft, you can sip your way through the state without ever leaving your table.
Looking for something other than beer? Choose from Sushi Yoshi's extensive list of Japanese whiskies or sake offerings. Check out their events calendar for local happenings when you’re in town.
3. McGrath’s Irish Pub
Sometimes, you just need some comfort food and a pint. When the craving strikes, head to McGrath’s, Killington’s first and only Irish pub.
As the first place in Vermont to serve Guinness on draft and the home of the largest selection of Irish whiskies in the state, you’re guaranteed to have a fantastic time at this staple Killington bar.
This family-friendly spot features an inviting dining area and hosts weekly live music where you can enjoy everything from traditional Irish folk tunes to covers of popular hits.
If your group is looking for a spot everyone will love, McGrath’s Irish Pub should be at the top of your list.
4. Lookout Tavern

Enjoy ice-cold beers, hand-crafted cocktails, and a menu that features all the bar classics, including the “best wings in the state,” when you visit Lookout Tavern this summer. After dinner, head to the game area just past the bar and challenge your friends to pool, Big Buck Hunter Reloaded, Gravity Hill, and more!
With a pup-approved patio, you can bring the whole family and discover why they’ve been a favorite Killington bar since 1958.

Killington Restaurants with Great Bars
Yama Ramen
Hungry for some traditional Japanese comfort food? Yama Ramen has you covered. Plus, they’ve got a great bar area where you can relax and sip on local craft beer, wine, and sake. Try the Chicken Summer Roll and the Coco Curry Ramen paired with an Ozeki Nigori. The creamy finish of the sake complements the nutty ramen broth.
Gondoughla

A relatively new addition to the Killington food scene, Gondoughla serves wood-fired pizzas with a side of live music and cold drinks. Stop by after a long hike or mountain bike ride. Play a game at your table, split a pie, and wash it down with local craft brews.
The Foundry
Enjoy waterfront views when you dine at the Foundry at Summit Pond. You’ll come for the delicious pastas, salads, and fresh seafood, but the cocktails and porch vibes will keep you hanging around long after your meal is done. With frequent live music all summer long, as well as fun events like fishing tournaments, it’s a great spot to spend an afternoon or evening.
Try their Vermont Cheese Board, their namesake Foundry Burger, and a Blackberry Texas Mule or Watermelon Crush for a perfect splash of summer in a glass.
Seasonal Re-Openings in September and October
Many bars in Killington are seasonal, opening in late fall or in the winter with the start of the ski season. One of the earliest reopenings of a seasonal bar is the Pickle Barrel, located next door to Jax Food & Games!
As Killington’s largest entertainment venue, the Pickle Barrel offers three levels of dance floors, bars, and music stages, and there’s always something going on. Enjoy popular folk artists as well as up-and-coming bands at this 21+ club in Killington.
The Wobbly Barn is another popular venue that will make a slightly earlier opening than most. Their annual Halloween Party is set for October 31st. Costumes are mandatory, and ticket sales will be announced closer to the event.
