KMBC Bike Bum Race Series
For the outdoor enthusiast, the KMBC Bike Bum Race Series is a great way to spend the day as you watch teams compete in timed trials as they tear down Lower Rabbit Hole at Killington Park. The 10-week race series kicks off June 21st from 2 pm – 5 pm and takes place every Wednesday until August 23, with after-parties and prize giveaways held at local Killington businesses from 5 pm – 7 pm. This annual event is a fundraiser held on behalf of the Killington Mountain Bike Club, and all proceeds go toward building and maintaining trails for the community to enjoy, so after watching the races, feel free to grab your bike and hit the trails yourself!
Cooler in the Mountains
If an evening of free music is more your style, check out the beloved Cooler In the Mountains summer concert series, which starts Saturday, July 1st, from 3 pm – 5 pm, making this the perfect addition to a 4th of July trip to Killington. Grab your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and head to the base of Snowshed Lodge to enjoy Vermont craft beer, snacks, and free regional and national music acts! Speaking of the 4th of July, Killington’s Independence Day celebration is back for 2023 and will feature a parade, BBQ, fireworks, and tons of activities the whole family can enjoy.
