Looking for a laid-back, family-friendly way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Killington this summer? Join us outside the K-1 Lodge for the Cooler in the Mountains Concert Series, a free weekly concert lineup featuring top national and regional acts.

Bring a chair and a blanket, grab a drink, and enjoy great live music in the fresh mountain air. Every Saturday from July 5 through September 6, we’ll have a new band taking the stage from 3:00 to 5:30 PM. You’ll also find cold drinks at the K-1 Lodge patio bar and casual eats from the outdoor grill nearby.

Is the event family-friendly?

Yes, Cooler in the Mountains is open to all ages and perfect for families.

Do I need tickets?

Nope—this event is completely free. Just show up and enjoy.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

There are designated areas: one for BYOB and one for drinks purchased from the on-site bar. You can’t move drinks between those zones.

What kind of food is available?

There’s a grill setup near the lawn serving casual food, plus the patio bar at K-1 will be open for beverages.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, but pets must be on a leash and under control at all times. 

What happens if it rains?

Killington will announce by 11:00 AM the day of the show if the concert will move indoors. Check the conditions report for the latest updates.
