Enjoy the wood-burning fieldstone fireplace while lounging or dining in the open living and dining areas with Cathedral ceilings. When visiting us in the Summer months enjoy grilling on the large deck overlooking the beautiful backyard. Take advantage of the exclusive access to a private swimming pond. Pittsfield borders the Green Mountain National Forest making for easy access to mountain biking, hiking, and the VAST snowmobile trails. Don't forget your four-legged family member is more than welcome to join you during your time away as this property is pet friendly (prior approval required).

We came to Vermont for the Fall foliage and hiking. The home at Hawk's Landing was perfectly located for this and exceeded my expectations. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Wonderful. Beautiful house with everything one could need. Except we were there during a heat wave and the indoor heat was very difficult to control, especially on windless days. We needed to ask for an extra fan which we received very promptly! I would rent this unique home again but in the wintertime. The architecture of the house is amazing and I'm happy I got to spend time there.

This is the second year we have spent September in the Green Mountains at Hawk Landing. We chose the property because it is pet/cat friendly. The house is spacious and fully furnished with a second floor deck with railings that permits our cats to go outside without being leashed. As long as your driver can negotiate narrow steep gravel roads you will love the location. We play golf throughout Vermont and this property is centrally located making it easy to get to any golf course in a reasonable amount of time. Pittsfield is a quaint little town but close enough to Killington Resort and Rutland to provide a great variety of dining experiences. Vermont breakfasts cannot be beat. We love Vermont in the fall with the changing weather, changing leaf colors and mountain vistas and this property allows us to enjoy it all.
