Roots offers a broad range of ski equipment and accessories suitable for all ages. Flexible rental options range from one to five days, with possible extensions for an extra fee. A valid credit card and ID are required to reserve equipment, with minors requiring an adult's signature. Early pickup for the next day is available from 2 p.m. without extra charge, and returns are due by 6 p.m. on the specified date. Roots Ski & Snowboard opens just in time for the winter season, so visit starting in November.

If you’re visiting from somewhere that doesn’t typically see a lot of snowfall or cold temperatures, it’s unlikely you’ll have all the necessary attire to stay warm and dry on the slopes. Let the team at First Stop Board Barn outfit you with all the best gear. They have jackets, pants, and package deals to fit your needs, but supplies are on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to contact them in advance to make sure your gear is ready for you when you arrive at Killington.
