Spring means it’s time for the annual Pond Skim, happening April 11, 2026, at the K-1 Lodge. Skiers and snowboarders will take their best shot at skimming across the pond—some will make it, plenty won’t, and that’s half the fun.
Whether you’re jumping in or just watching from the snow, it’s always one of the most entertaining days of the season. Skimming starts at 11:00 AM, spectating is free, and awards (plus live music) follow later in the afternoon.
Costumes are encouraged. Staying dry is not guaranteed.
